horse still stands today.
One of the most famous dishes served in Turkey
today is believed to have been consumed on Noah's
Ark which came to rest on Mt. Ararat. The meal
consists of Azure pudding, a sweet and sour dish.
Coffee was also introduced to Turkey by Syrian
traders in 1555 and became the drink of culture.
Among many well-known people born in Turkey are
the Apostle Paul born in Tarsus which is part
of modern-day southeast Turkey and Herodotus 'the
father of history' dating back to the 5th century
accounts of wars between Greece and Persia.
